What is the Billericay Community Trust?
The Billericay Community Trust is a registered charity comprising fifteen schools in Billericay, Anglia Ruskin University and Billericay School Centred Initial Teacher Training. The Billericay Community Trust's aim is to create innovative learning opportunities in Billericay by working collectively with local businesses and community organisations. Learning does not always happen in a classroom. The Billericay Community Trust believes that by bridging gaps, for example between school and work, young and old, it will be able to build confidence and pride in the community through eliminating barriers to learning, broadening horizons and raising aspirations.
A firmly established collective of schools, the Billericay Community Trust is now embarking on the next stage of itsdevelopment, which is to seek partners in the community with whom it could engage in a range of projects and activities for the benefit of the whole of the town. The Billericay Community Trust wants to know how it could help you, your family or your organisation. What's missing in Billericay? The Billericay Community Trust wants your views, energy, support and sponsorship.
